Rise City Dance cultivates the artistry, discipline, and creativity of young dancers through rigorous pre-professional training and meaningful performance opportunities. Based in the heart of Atlanta, we are dedicated to nurturing expression, elevating technique, and bringing exceptional dance experiences to audiences across our city. Led by experienced educators and artists, we prepare the next generation of dancers to thrive on stage and in life—with confidence, purpose, and passion for their craft.
Throughout the season, RCD dancers have the opportunity to perform in a range of exciting productions, including fall and spring concerts, appearances at the High Museum, our Holiday Spectacular, and events like NYCDA Atlanta and the RDA Southeast Festival. Select dancers also perform in the annual Neighborhood Ballet Recital.

Lace up your favorite ’90s sneaks and get ready to throw it back. Ever After: The Remix is part 90s dance party, part silent auction, and 100% for a good cause. Before you hit the dance floor with DJ Scott Morris, make sure to place a few bids. Every dollar supports the talented dancers of Rise City Dance. Come for the throwback jams, stay for the giving, and dance like it’s 1999.

Upcoming Performances
Second Sundays at the High Museum on March 8th
We’re excited to perform as part of Second Sundays at the High Museum this March. The program will feature works by Mychal Vandell, Andie Knudson, Devin Latham, and more, offering a dynamic range of contemporary voices alongside classical storytelling. The performance will also include select sections from our ballet Cinderella, bringing a familiar narrative to life through fresh movement and musicality.
Cinderella and Other Tales
Cinderella and Other Tales invites audiences on a whimsical journey through dance, brought to life by an enchanting cast of more than 100 young dancers from Rise City Dance. This imaginative performance weaves together beloved moments and playful surprises. From hilariously mischievous stepsisters and enchanting woodland creatures to graceful fairies and a moonlit night at the ball, each scene unfolds with heart and artistry. At its center is Cinderella’s timeless love story, a tale of kindness, transformation, and hope that continues to captivate generation after generation.
